Welcome to the third edition of Comexi News newsletter. We appreciate and value you as a customer and partner in the business.
This past May we have been participating in the Interpack trade fair, one of the largest industrial exhibitions for flexible packaging in the world. It has been encouraging to hear that the demand for flexible packaging is on the increase. During this important show, we presented many new innovations such as our hologram technology that permits attractive finishing options, our special laser applications or Comexi’s innovative CI Offset print solution, which enables faster make ready time, higher productivity and lower cost per unit with a very minor carbon footprint due to the absence of any solvents in the process. Also, coinciding with Interpack fair, we have presented our latest development: Comexi S1 MS slitter; specially designed for big output reels.
Following the Interpack, many of you had the opportunity to visit our manufacturing facilities and Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre (Comexi CTec), the knowledge driver in the flexible packaging field. It is always very inspiring to meet with the experts and exchanges experiences and knowledge with you, listening your inputs about designing and engineering technologies required.
We would like to let you know that Comexi has recently completed its organisational organisation and have appointed directors for each Business Unit: Flexo, Offset, Gravure, Lamination, Slitting and also for our Service Department in order to increase customer and market focus, enhance and accelerate new product development and to provide quick and efficient worldwide service 24 hours, seven days a week. Furthermore we have strengthened Comexi North America staff with the appointment of Olof Buelens as Vice President Sales and Service and additional field engineering capabilities. We are always investing in our customers, products and service to increase our clients’ benefits and profits. We have learned that is important that new developments always keep in mind that they were made in Comexi by Comexi people but, most important, to help you grow.
